This position would be ideal for someone who is consulting-oriented with experience in the driveline/transmission engineering space.

Technical competency

This person will manage projects (10-15 active at all times), manage and mentor the technical staff, and will be responsible for process development and chargeability

Able to lead all the engineering and technical activities

Technically very strong in transmissions

Could come from pass car though equally from off highway or aerospace

Versatile engineer comfortable leading design, advising on CAE / simulation, test and validation etc.

Some knowledge of electronic controls would be useful but not essential.

Able to work from first principles and solve complex engineering issues.

Happy to be hands on.

Command respect and have credibility internally at US Division with customers and critically with UK Headquarters.

Must be able to coach and mentor engineers at all levels.

Team player; open/transparent communicator; natural collaborator.

Able to work closely with UK headquarters will be essential to his/her success.
